The ice caves are a place the SilentClan cats generally avoid, though adventures into the depths of the crevices aren't unheard of. Oftentimes, apprentices will take it as a challenge when they're told of the danger the crevices hold, & venture down to prove themselves, in a sense. There hasn't been an ice cave-related death in many moons, though, and so the Clan is beginning to relax and think the great white bear that once inhabited the caves has left. The area is still sparsely visited, however - for whatever reason, the Clan still sees the caves as a bad omen.
